Eminem has a great fan base and they showed him this week that no matter what, they will stick by him and support his music. Last week, Mr. Shady released his new album, Recovery and it murdered the charts! He sold an amazing 741,000 copies in one week. Pushing Drake down and boosting himself way up! You can’t deny true talent. Congrats Eminem!

I’m not going to go back and speak on who Kat Stacks is because Scuttlebutt has covered her several times before. She’s basically the chick that claims to have had sex with a lot of rappers and hit up the internet to let the world know while giving out their cell phone numbers and house addresses. A few months ago, two men ran up on Kat in a bar and smacked her to he ground. In today’s video, some chicks and a dude rough her up and make her apologize for spreading these “rumors” on these people.

If you look at Kat she looks scared for her life! These people (said to be rapper Lil Twists aunt and friends) are angry and look like they are ready to kill her. Like any moment something can go wrong and it could be a murder scene. I want to know what you guys think though? Do you think she deserves all that she’s getting for not keeping the other person’s sex life private? Is she asking for all this trouble to rain upon her like it is? Funny thing is before they put out this video, Kat made her own video talking about the incident and still gave out their phone numbers. LOL! It’s like all this for 15 minutes of fame? Look at Superhead… She did all of that but nobody is talking about her now? Nobody cares about her life or books. So at the end of the day, is all this getting smacked up worth it?

Jim Jones decided to spend time away from the studio and hit up a high school in Brooklyn, New York to teach them about the ins and outs of the music industry. Jim decided to do a 6 week course after school so the kids can learn what its actually takes to make a record and to be a successful artists. Go head Jim. He’s giving back to the community which I can say is more than a lot of artists are doing these days besides shows.

BET will be show casing this documentary of Trey Songz and his life before, after and during his fame. I like watching these kind of reality documentaries because you can see another side of an artists and maybe you can relate more to their story. Maybe their story can inspire you to go out and achieve your dreams you feel impossible.

I guess if you’re friend with Rick Ross, you’re no kin to 50 Cent. Fiddy decided to take it to the stage and diss Diddy. If you’re living in a Amish community, then you wouldn’t know that Diddy is Rick Ross’ new manager, so I guess that’s where 50’s new found dislike for Diddy is coming from. Peep the video below of Fif cracking jokes on Diddy and also peep how he straight embarrasses Tony Yayo saying, “Imma get rid of Yayo if he doesn’t make another hit record.” SMH! Ruthless…

Diddy took a shot at 50 during the BET after party show last night but he didn’t say 50’s name but we all know who he was talking about. LOL…

So last night was the 10th Anniversary of the annual BET Awards. Their were a host of performances before and during the show. I’m not going to post all of them but just the ones that caught my eye.

First performance is the one that had everyone’s mouths moving and fingers typing away on the internet. This performance is Chris Brown doing his Michael Jackson tribute that he wanted to do last year but was basically blackballed from showing his face on television. Towards the end of the performance, Chris breaks down in tears. People are questioning whether or not they were genuine tears or if they were staged to gain a place back in the industry. I felt that they were genuine but we will never know. Overall, I feel like Chris did a phenomenal job. I forgive you Chris…

Next up is Kanye West stepping out and performing “Power”. I love the song but I wasn’t feeling the performance that much because I would have loved him to get off that mountain top and do the Ye shuffle dance he does like in “Jesus Walks” video. Either way, I was just glad to see that he hasn’t completely told all the award shows to kiss his behind.

I didn’t like this performance. This is Ludacris & Nicki Minaj doing “My Chick Bad” and then goes into DJ Khaled and T-Pain doing “All I Do Is Win”. I just felt that for Nicki Minaj’s first award show performances, she should’ve been live. I hate when rappers lip sync. How do you feel?

Lastly, is Trey Songz. He became a Twitter trending topic after this performance and it wasn’t because he is oh so sexaaay but because people thought his performance was bad. Peepers were especially upset when he did a quick rendition of Prince’s classic; “Purple Rain”. You be the judge.

R. Kelly still has the hits on lock DoWn! In this video, he’s showing his journey to Africa for the 2010 World Cup. I like this song and video. It’s very uplifting.
