Finally this video is here. It features the beautiful Keri Hilson. Was it worth the wait for you?
Look-a-here… Mario and his boo/ Amber Rose’s bestie go shopping. You think they will take the Kamber spotlight now since Kanye and Amber are rumored to be splitsville?

Sooo, I guess Vibe magazine is choosing to put Nicki Minaj on their June 2010 cover. The picture above is just a little preview of what’s to come. I do like her hair and make up. Can’t wait to see the real thing.

Jay Z is building an empire with his Roc Nation record label. He has a great team of singers, songwriters and producers under his label just all ready to work. His new addition to the Roc Nation family is Lil Kim. Owwwww! I think with the guidance of Jay that she will make some great music. Should Nicki Minaj watch out???
Speaking of Roc Nation, here’s the first video to one of his new artists that he discovered from YouTube. Her name is Alexis Jordan and she is one talented little lady. Peep it below…
Yesterday, both Chris Brown and Rihanna released some new videos. Rihanna released the full version to her single “Rockstar 101.” Here she’s just being her rockstar self. She has Travis Barker on the drums and she’s rocking out. Cute but nothing too surprising. Now Chris Brown’s “Bullshit” video on the other hand… Geeez! He’s kissing, licking and… ok that’s enough. Just watch the video. He’s still sexiii!
Rihanna- “Rockstar 101″
Chris Brown- “Bullshit”
When I heard that Justin Bieber was being nominated for a BET award, I was shocked. For those of you who live in a bubble, Justin Bieber is a Caucasian “very famous” Pop singer and BET stands for BLACK Entertainment Television. Get it now??? Let me just say that I’m the least bit of racist. I could care less if Justin was nominated or even if he won. My question is, are black people too nice? Predominately owned Caucasian establishments make African Americans work hard for years before even being nominated for one of their awards. Look at Halle Berry winning the Academy Award for Best Leading Actress in 2001. She was the FIRST African American to win that award. Halle been a “known” actress since 1991 and it took her 10 years to prove herself worthy enough and win an award. I personally think she could have snagged a award for her role in “Losing Isaiah” but that’s neither here nor there.
My thing is, Justin Bieber hasn’t even been out long enough to prove himself to be that great of an artist and he’s already being nominated for a BET award. It took 10 years for the first African American to win a Academy Awards and that was Hattie McDaniel in 1939. Do us African Americans not require the same “earn your stripes” attitude when it comes to our awards? I say this again. I like Justin but has he earned his “stripes” to even be nominated for a Black award? Are we just to willing to “turn the other cheek”? How do you feel about this?
Doesn’t Ciara just seem so “Hollywood” now? Is it because she’s hanging with the Kardashian’s or could it be that she’s just matured with her growing up. Either way, she definitely does have a different poise about her and I like it. Her fashion sense has also gotten better. Peep a video of a interview of Ciara back when her first album was dropping back in 2004. Can you see the difference?
